We were also able to save money by buying groceries at local stores as opposed to eating out and we made sure to pick lodging that offered at least a daily Continental Breakfast.

Public transportation is both affordable and fairly easy to navigate in both areas. The DART and double-decker buses in Dublin are great, and the train to Belfast, followed by a ferry ride over to Scotland was a nice way to sit back and enjoy some of the beautiful scenery.

Some of the things of places I liked the most visiting were, Vatican City in Italy, the Louvre museum in Paris, running with the bulls at the San Fermin Festival in Pamplona Spain. We also loved Switzerland and Greece. Basically the whole trip was a big adventure. We traveled by train, which I like a lot as it is a fast and comfortable way to travel. You get to enjoy the beautiful European scenery.

It all ended with a pretty cheap cruise which we took before returning home. This was very relaxing after having to run every day to catch our trains. I would definitely recommend this world travel destination to anyone. If you look hard you can find amazing prices and save a huge amount of money too.

Turkey is a beautiful country that must be visited. Plenty to do you will never be bored. Great for couples, families, etc. Very historic, filled with a vast culture and very friendly people. Highly recommended!! Very close to Europe so it can easily be part of a larger trip, yet a trip to Turkey on its own is worth much more. There are some great resorts on the coastal cities that are all-inclusive, including food, recreational activities, etc.

Istanbul is more a historic visit, filled with culture and breathtaking sightseeing as well as incredibly tasty fine dining, especially on the Bosphorus. Turkey is an often overlooked vacation destination and it should really rank in the top 10 vacation ideas.

He said that Sevastopol had closed access to foreigners since the cold war was over; but now it had re-opened for outsiders. We were excited to go there as it would have much in store for us to explore.

We took a ferry service to our destination and reached within 45 minutes. We were simply awestruck by the beauty of that city. The unusual thing which I noticed at first instance was that all buildings and structures were white and most of them had the same look. The place had a different aura about it. Sevastopol is located in the Crimean region.

It took us a whole day to find out a few things about this magical city. The people were courteous and even they seemed to be excited to see us. That's because, we were the first foreigners to set foot after the cold war. I saw a real submarine for the first time in my life. It was so gigantic, much larger than what we see in the movies. With the permission of the authorities, we took some pictures of us standing near the submarine.

In the evening, someone suggested that we go further to the island of Severnaya. We took a boat to the island and reached just before sunset. At this point, I must mention that the sunset viewed from that island will make you thank God for making you take birth on this Earth. It is so unique, especially during summers. The sky is a combination of Blue, Yellow, Orange and Red.

Moreover, I felt as if my lungs got a new life, by simply breathing the fresh and non polluted air there. We spent the whole night and the next day there. We made friends with some locals too. I always feel relaxed whenever I recollect memories of that place and I know that one day, I will revisit the place that still hasn't faded from my memory and will always remain.

The benefits of such an arrangement were that we were able to customize our trip to fit in all the areas we wanted to visit during our vacation, leave alone a high degree of flexibility incase there were other things we needed to do that were not planned for earlier.

On landing in Kenya ready to start our vacation, a Kenyan guide/driver assigned to us came to pick us up from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi) and drove us to the Intercontinental Hotel, an affordable luxurious hotel within the city.

The following day, my boyfriend and I, boarded a luxurious Nissan minibus with a roof that can be popped for easier movement in order to look at the wildlife and take pictures comfortably. For the first round of the safari, we went to the Masaai Mara and witnessed the spectacular wildebeest migration.

We also visited the Amboseli Game Reserve. This park contained all the big fives: lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos and leopards. Other wildlife include: vervet monkeys, spotted hyena, guinea fowl, dik-diks, pink flamingoes, pelicans, marabou storks, giraffes, vultures, jackals, Nile crocodiles. While at the Amboseli Game reserve, we stayed at the Amboseli lodge, which baboons, zebras and wildebeests would come to the surrounding 3-ft fence every evening.

After the fulfilling 6-day safari, we went to the coastal city of Kenya called Mombasa. Here we checked into the Sun ‘n’ Sand Beach Hotel. The rooms were luxurious, the food exquisite and the weather incredible. We use to swim and bask in the warm sun every morning followed by a short trip to the attraction sites such as the Fort Jesus, Old Town, Bamburi Nature Trail, Vasco da Gama Pillar, Malindi Marine Park and ancient Gede Ruins. This world travel destination will forever be engraved in my memory!
