Vacation Cruise Ideas

Vacation Cruises #1:

By Ruby from Philadelphia - My favorite vacation was a cruise I took to the Bahamas.

The cruise ship we took was of the Royal Caribbean Cruises and it was a huge ship with all the amenities.

The ship was a great place to stay with many restaurants, and evening activities and games. There was a theater, a gym, a pool and a casino. The Bahamas was a beautiful group of islands.

We stopped at the capital, Nassau, to look around do some shopping for souvenirs. Then the cruise itself had a private island to itself where beach lovers and ocean lovers could have fun and frolic.

The white sand and clear water were enough of a thrill. There were large rocks in the water around which fish swam. For sea lovers this was a perfect vacation idea.

By Mike from NC - My most favorite of vacation ideas would be Cancun, Mexico. My wife and I took a cruise ship down to Cancun this past summer and had an absolute blast! It was nonstop fun.

The cruise ship had us entertained when we were off the island and the Island had us entertained while we were off the ship.

We explored ancient ruins and lay out on white sandy beaches. The water was so warm and the people were very friendly. It was a truly wonderful experience.

We even rented a scooter and scooted around the island. We took pictures with all the locales we came across, even the iguanas!! The people of Cancun know how to have a great time and they want you to share in the fun.

There was so much to do and we just didn't have enough time to do it all. I would definitely recommend everyone go to Cancun at least once in their life. It is nice to see another culture's ways outside of the US.

It was a very rewarding trip because my wife now, said yes to me on the white sandy beach where I proposed to her. She was very moved and it was a perfect day! That is why that is my favorite vacation spot ever!

Vacation Cruises #3:

By Drew from Atlanta - I recently spent 4 nights on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship called the Monarch of the Seas. This was in early March and I decided that my wife and I deserve a small vacation. The ship left from Miami and made its way to two different ports in the Bahamas. As soon as we boarded the ship we were able to forget about home and enjoy ourselves with all the activities available. The food was fantastic and so was the service. My wife particularly enjoyed the formal dinners each night because of the high quality of the food.

I loved the nightly shows that Royal Caribbean put on for us. Our cabin was small but, this was expected and we did not spend much time in the cabin at all. I would highly recommend a Royal Caribbean cruise for anyone thinking about it. The great service and fun activities made our cruise experience amazing.

Vacation Cruises #4:

By Leonard from Idaho - My favorite vacation was going on a 12 day cruise in Hawaii through carnival. You drift pass several of the islands in Hawaii including Kauai, Kona, Maui which are all very beautiful.

The place we stayed at was of course on the boat in a suite which is basically a luxury room on the boat. While sailing we tried out lots of food, went swimming on the boats swimming pool, gambling, award winning shows, and even a spa.

I enjoy going on cruises because it’s a chance of a lifetime to have fun everyday away from the typical home life where every day is a day to just sit back and relax. Carnival Cruise from my experience is one of the best choices I wish it could last a lifetime.

By Sherrada Arizona - The best vacation I have ever taken was a cruise with my husband. We had only been married a year and as young newlyweds we didn't have a lot of money for a trip but wanted to do something during Spring Break from school.

We had airfare taken care of because of some Rapid Rewards we had earned. We chose the cruise because everything is included! I can't wait to go on another one! We went to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico.

The destinations weren't even our favorite part! It was so fun to be pampered on the ship. We enjoyed the fine dining every night and trying new things. There was also good entertainment and always something to do. Be careful if you go on a cruise though, you will be hooked for life!

Vacation Cruises #6:

By Sue from Pennsylvania - The best vacation I ever went on was a cruise to the Caribbean. We visited St. Maarten, San Juan, and St. Thomas. All were beautiful. Each one was unique in its own way and all of the water was clear blue and you could see straight to the bottom. We took the cruise on Carnival.

This ship had endless things to do. There many clubs and casinos and they had different entertainment throughout the day and night. Our room had a balcony so while you were in your room you could look straight out into the ocean. When we got to each islands the boat docked close to many little stores, restaurants and it was right by the beach.

You never had to waste any time looking for anything. They had everything planned very well so you never had to worry about a thing. A cruise is definitely the way to go if you are looking for exotic vacation ideas.
