It was the perfect place to visit when the sun is hot outside. The next day we went west to Busch Gardens at Williamsburg. The park provided enough entertainment for the whole family. With water rides, and rides for the youngest in the family the park is a great way to spend the day in Virginia. Any trip to Virginia Beach would not be complete without a day at the beach and a family photo in front of the giant Poseidon statue. The beach is wonderful. It has a family friendly atmosphere and plenty of room for everyone to have fun. I am glad that we spent our vacation at Virginia Beach. Until we went to Water Country USA. My eyes lit up as we approached the sign because i knew we were gonna have fun then.Lots of kids my age were coming and going. Nobody felt bad to be in a bathing suit and it was a really fun, no presure atmosphere. We went on the inner tube ride, we did the water swing, and ate lunch. Overall, the Hubba Hubba Highway was my favorite part of the water park. I took my then 4 year old twin nieces and my 2 year old nephew through the park, using them as an excuse to try to have fun. The lazy river style ride was perfect to just lean back and let the water take you away. Overall, the best cure for teens not wanting to do the family vacation thing. It'll change their minds in a heartbeat. (I know because I'll never forget Virginia Beach's Water Country USA.) We stayed at a beach front resort hotel for a fraction of the price of anywhere in Hawaii. The accommodations were beyond anything we have ever experienced. The southern charm and culture is unforgettable and it is a must to visit the cultural center. The weather was perfect! Eighty five degrees, balmy and the beaches were soft sugary sand with low tide waves. There is everything you need for a relaxing, romantic or family vacation. The boardwalk is right there with an amusement park and shopping, restaurants are all located within walking distance. Virginia Beach, VA is an unforgettable destination; there is truly something for everyone. Our trip to Virginia Beach was one of our best vacation ideas ever. By Michael from TN - I went to Virginia Beach last year with my wife on vacation. I can honestly say it was one of the best vacations I ever took. The beaches are beautiful, and a lot less polluted then what I am used to seeing. We rented a spacious three bedroom condo located directly on the beach. The view was phenomenal, and well worth the money we paid. While we were there we didn't really visit too many attractions. We spent most of the time laying around on the beach, and taking walks down the shore line. We cooked out each night on the grill provided by our condo. It was such a wonderful experience, and I will always be happy for the time I had there. It was our first vacation together (we've been married two years) and although it was a bit pricey, it was a nice escape from reality. The area was quite touristy, but only during the middle of the day. We spent most of our time at the beach at night, and early in the morning. I have no regrets about my vacation to Virginia Beach, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
