The hotel has a mystical beauty surrounding it. Away from the hustle bustle of the city it is a great place to visit for Honeymooners.
It is full of greenery. It has a grandeur of its own. Next was my visit to Kuala Lumpur where we stayed at Hotel Istana.
The Petronas Towers is breathtakingly beautiful. You can gaze at the water fountain flowing in front for hours at a stretch.
The Butterfly Park and Malaysia Museum were also worth a visit. We also visited the China Town a great place to shop for visitors.
My final destination was Langkawi. We stayed at Holiday Villa Beach Resort. It has a total population of 1 lac. The most beautiful place for honeymooners with its clear blue beaches.
The Langkawi marine aquarium was worth a watch. I would highly recommend the Island Hopping experience to all visitors.
I was in Korea working and had gotten married to my wife the previous year. Unfortunately, work reasons, she could not go with me. The trip to Seoul was a belated honeymoon for us.
We had a marvelous week exploring the city and taking a bus trip outside of the city one day. We had a lot of fun exploring the touristy sites, and even managed to get lost in Seoul.
An experience that I would recommend to anyone...we saw parts of the city we wouldn't have any other way and got the strangest looks by some of the people. It was if they had never seen Americans before.
Now, years later, my wife and I have a small family forming. We can always look back to those times when we were able to travel, just the two of us, and smile upon the memories.
Instead we used our guide books and our street smarts to navigate our way up and down the Nile River. Our main focus was visiting ancient sites and ruins.
Seeing the Pyramids at Giza for the first time brought tears to my eyes. It was probably the most exciting and favorite vacation moments in my life.
It was only enhanced when we rented horses and rode around the Giza plateau racing across the sands early one morning with the pyramids and sphinx as backdrop. All on our own time.
Hotel is situated on the beautiful Mediterranean Beach that offers splendid views of sea. Beach has lots of nice restaurants, discotheque and various sports activities.
There is also a lovely harbor close to this beach. I enjoyed the delicious food of Israeli restaurants that offer all kinds of local, Mexican, Italian and Chinese stuff.
I also got a chance to explore the old Jaffa area of Tel Aviv that has many old houses and an old church.
On weekend, I went to Jerusalem and visited Church of Ascension, the place from where Jesus ascended.
I enjoyed street shopping near the Church and on my way back, visited The Jewish Quarter, Dead Sea and Abu Ghosh, the famous Arabic restaurant in the area.
I cherished every moment of being in Israel and its attractions
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Melaka which is a great hotel to stay in. It's a new hotel that offers wonderful accommodations with good service and friendly, helpful staff.
It's very close to one of Malaysia's most famous and largest city, Kuala Lumpur. Our family had a great view with a magnificent view of the Malaysian landscape.
There are a lot of things to try in Malaysia that you don't find in Canada. Riding ostriches was really something new! We even got part of an ostrich egg to keep as a memento and they are really thick and much larger than a normal egg.
We tried interesting, local foods and drank coconut milk, which I’ve always wanted to try in that great setting. Also, for older visitors, there are some great casinos to try out in Malaysia.
Our family vacation in Malaysia was both fun and quite educational. We will be going back again soon.
