Tourist Spot In The Philippines
Tourist Spot In The Philippines #1:Isla Reta is one of the nice beaches in Talikud Island, which is a part of the bigger island, The Island Garden City of Samal, Mindanao, Philippines. While it only takes a ten-minute boat ride to get to Samal Island from Davao City, the trip to Talikud Island takes around 30-45 minutes, but it is well worth the trip. Isla Reta’s beach is breathtaking! The sand is powdery and light brown to dirty white, and as you near the water, pebbles and bleached broken corals line the beach. The water is cool, invigorating and crystal clear. If you are planning to spend some time there, don't forget your snorkeling gear so you can take a look at the splendid various marine life and growing young corals there. On Isla Reta you won’t find any luxury restaurants or hotels. It is just a simple white-sand beachfront spot. This is a tropical vacation idea where you can relax your mind and body with nature’s paradise. Tourist Spot In The Philippines #2:Tagaytay City is a cool respite from the hot days in the city. Just a 1-2 hour drive south of Metro Manila, Tagaytay is a mountaintop area that boasts a host of popular restaurants and recreation. The main attraction at Tagaytay is the Taal Volcano, the smallest live volcano in the world that is situated in a crater lake that one can visit by boat. Tourists also flock frequently to the nearby Taal Vista Lodge to watch ethnic dance performances and take photos against the magnificent backdrop of the calm lake. Several golf courses and country clubs in the area also offer different types of sports and recreation for local members, including horse-back riding, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Tourist Spot In The Philippines #3:By Jay - I loved my visit to Pagsanjan Falls. First we drove into down. My GF, 7 of her friends and me were headed to this adventure. We hired guides from a local hotel. Next thing you know, we were met at the river's edge by local, skilled, guides in traditional "Canoes". We boarded 2 per boat. Each was propelled buy 2 guides. The Guides head up river with paddles at first, but as we reach the first set of minor rapids we get a glimpse of the technique they are know for. The guides are on one knee. The other leg out of the boat and they propel the boat by pushing off with this leg from one rock to the next it is SO COOL. While watching this it is easy to miss the fact that you have enter a jungle canyon. Every 50 meters there is a small waterfall shooting from one side or the other of the canyon from far above. Once again, SO COOL. After more rapids and more small falls, you reach the star of the show - a somewhat large and entirely beautiful waterfall shooting for the side. We pulled aside, exited the boat and enjoyed the water and view. So Cool. Tourist Spot In The Philippines #4:One area of the Philippines which does not get much press or tourist write-ups is the province of Romblon. It consists of approximately 20 islands which have been compared to Mediterranean ones. It is often called Marble Country because the area contains a wealth of marble, which is supplied throughout the region for construction purposes and monuments. Visitors can purchase small marble items made locally including eggs, animal figurines and chess sets. Also in Romblon for the more adventurous is Mt. Guiting-guiting which is located on Sibuyan Island, the second largest in the Romblon province. It rises approximately 6725 feet from above level and is a trial for mountain climbers of all skills because of its rocky ridges. In addition to going up, the level area contains beautiful rivers and waterfalls as well as beaches that have not yet been over run with tourists. Tourist Spot In The Philippines #5:Manila Ocean Park is a state-of-the-art ocean park or an aquarium. It’s the Philippine’s first Oceanarium. You can go to see a vast variety of beautiful marine life. They have a restaurant and a boutique mall for those who want to shop and eat after a long day of marine viewing. They also hold other activities like, battle of the bands or even a spa. This is a great spot for a family vacation. Right next to the marina you can go swimming on a beautiful beach with you’re kids. Down the road there is the recreational garden area, Paco Park and also the historical and scenic Rizal Park. No matter what, there is plenty of do and you won’t regret visiting Manila Ocean Park. This Philippine vacation idea will leave with a fun filled day and you will become educated in marine life!
