I booked my tickets and made sure my trip would be over a Full Moon, so i could go to the Full Moon Parties I've heard so much about. I started my trip in Bangkok, seeing the sites and checking out all the markets and shopping spots, I headed to Phuket and got up close and personal to a Tiger, I even got my photo taken with it! Then I headed to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party which was awesome! Thousands of people on the beach, watching the full moon rise over the sand, dancing until sunrise, it was magic! After recovering from the Full Moon Party i headed to Chiang Mai for something quieter, I got to ride an elephant, visited traditional villages and saw temples and local dancing. I ended my trip in Bangkok where I bought so many things i had to pay for extra baggage! Thailand is a great place to visit, the food was excellent, the people were friendly and there were so many things to do and places to visit, i can't wait to go back! Some safety tips, always keep your valuables secured to your body, only drink bottled water and always check your bag hasn't been tampered with. I planned on going to the famous Sunday market for my shopping, then seeing Pattaya Beach, then going to see the magic hill and finally to paradise fruit farm which s located in the Lower North on the bank of the Ping River; it is 358 kilometers from Bangkok. So I first went to Pattaya Beach in a cab and enjoyed the beach. I took a rented Harley Davison bike and went around the place and did some shopping. Then was time to see the fruit farm. It was a very big farm and the workers were very nice and they told I can eat how much I ever want! So I went on a fruit diet on that day! After enjoying the beach and the farm it was time for me to go back. I wanted to do shopping in the famous Sunday market which is open on Saturdays and Sundays. This place had all the things from pets to food. I did a big shopping for all at home and had a great vacation going alone! Other activities that are available include picnicking, boat cycling, canoeing and even a playground for the kids. Also featured is a real air-raid shelter that was used in World War II. The zoo is open every day from 9 am until 6 pm and is a wonderful and interesting destination for the whole family. Add a visit to the Vimanmek Teak Mansion, a nearby attraction, for a wonderful day in Thailand. The shrine itself is meant to bring good spirit. Tourists and locals go and lay flowers around the shrine every day. It’s free to see but if you want to purchase flowers it might be rather expensive. While you are there you can even stay at the hotel where the shrine is located. For those who don’t know Brahma is the creator of the universe and all living things. He is also known to give good fortune to people. Sadly two years ago the statue was destroyed. Recently they have opened back up and have built an even more spectacular version of the statue. I recommend anyone visiting Thailand to go take a look at this amazing site.
