Your swim will take you along the currents of a tropical river that passes through the rain forest and under waterfalls. Relax in a hammock or under an umbrella on sugar-white beaches. Dine all day on mouth-watering cuisine. All your gear, meals and beverages are covered in your all-inclusive admission. These people do it all and they know what they are doing. It’s actually a hang gliding school but it’s also a vacation destination. Set in the middle of a secluded area of Florida forest, the Wallaby Ranch has tent camping and RV camping facilities. Plus they have some nice amenities and activities for the whole family. They have prepared trails in the woodland around the park which are great for mountain biking and walks or hikes. Cool off in their 27,000-gallon pool. The kids will enjoy the children’s playground area. You could plan a camping vacation here, enjoy some hang gliding and use this as a base to venture out and enjoy the nearby Orlando attractions like Disney and the rest. It’s all accessible by paved scenic walkways that make for a quiet relaxing experience amidst a hectic world. The Harry P. Leu Gardens also house an art exhibit which features permanent collections as well as revolving artist’s works. The Leu Gardens hosts special events around the year so check what is going on during your planned visit. When we touched down in Fort Lauderdale, we spent the night at a Comfort Inn, before embarking in the morning to the Kissimmee/Orlando area. We had made reservations beforehand for a poolside suite at the Royal Parc Suites, and we checked in fine without any problems. Our plan for the trip was to spend the next week visiting a different theme park each day. On the first day, we went to the Magic Kingdom. Originally, we weren't planning on going there again, but my brother's girlfriend had never been, and had always dreamed of going, so we made an exception. The next day, we went to Sea World, which was absolutely gorgeous, and a very nice change of pace. The next two days after that were spent at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios, two adjoined amusement parks owned by the Universal parent company. The next day, we went to Hollywood Studios, which was fantastic. Lastly, we topped it off with a drive up to Tampa one morning to visit the legendary Busch Gardens safari and theme park. This was by far our favorite stop of the whole trip. The combination of exotic animals with high-adrenaline thrill rides was absolutely wonderful, and an experience we wouldn't trade for anything. We spent one last day after that relaxing by the pool, doing some shopping, and soaking up the sun, before taking off for the Fort Lauderdale airport once again to board our plane back to Toronto. Overall, it was an absolutely amazing vacation idea that was filled with laughs, endless fun, and magic brought to life. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.
