Europe Tourist Attractions

Tourist Attractions in Europe #1:
By Eve, Holland - French Riviera is a vacation idea at paradise. The Cote d'Azur on the south-east-coast of France, is also known as the French Riviera.

Here you can find the most incredible place to enjoy your vacation with your friends, family, children or your lover.

Great white beaches with waving palms, not yet spoiled by hordes of tourists, blue skys and crystal clear seawater.

The small towns you find at the Cote d'Azur are peaceful, like time doesn't really excist, so one really calms down and relaxes, like you should when you are away from your daily worries.

The towns provides everything you want, from freshly baked French bread and croissants to middleage ruins you can visit.

The Cote d'Azur has a Mediterranean climate which includes sunny, dry summers and mild winters. The average temperature on a summerday is 28 ºC, what a nice temperature is for a day on the beach, or for strolling around one the many small towns.

Tourist Attractions in Europe #2:
The Greek Islands are a wonderful place to visit in Europe. Although there are over 2,000 islands, only a few are populated and good for a vacation.

Some of the most popular for tourists are Crete, Euboea, Lesbos, Corfu and Naxos. The Greek Islands are known for their beautiful scenery, old architecture and historical sites.

You can have a great relaxing vacation exploring the landscape, enjoying the local restaurants and culture and taking photos.

There are also plenty of beaches for those who like to sunbathe and swim. The Aegean Sea provides lots of opportunities to get out and explore in a kayak, fishing, snorkeling and other water activities.

You can hop a ferry from the mainland to get to the islands. This is a fun experience by itself. Once on an island you can take a boat to other islands and expand your experience.

Tourist Attractions in Europe #3:
By Kim, Wales - Our vacation was in the town of Bracknell, which is in Berkshire, England. With an active six year old son a reasonably cheap but full on holiday is often difficult to find.

However due to our relatives being located in Bracknell near Reading, this is one holiday destination probably overlooked by many.

To start there are well priced travel lodges close by. We stayed in one at Binfield and it was very reasonable for the family room.

Then just around the corner is the ice skating rink and downhill ski complex. There are also several parks with children’s play areas which are great for picnics.

A 10 min drive into Bracknell and you have ten pin bowling, a cinema, leisure centre and many restaurants. Then just outside Bracknell there is the mountain biking and walking delights of the Look Out which is a large forestry.

The car park is free and there is an on site cafe. There is also a Go Ape high wire in the trees adventure trail provided you are over ten years of age and have a head for heights.

Across the road is Coral Reef an adventure water park which is also reasonably priced and good for three to four hours of amusement. Around twenty minutes drive away is Legoland, need I say more.

Windsor is also close by and a great British town full of history. If you want to take in the sights and sounds of London we found it easy to drive straight in for the day and hop on and off the tube.

Bracknell is a lovely town with so much to do and with a little planning can provide a great holiday at the fraction of the cost of a package one.

Tourist Attractions in Europe #4:
By Pradeep, Kerala - I spent my last vacation at Opatija in Croatia. Here are some good tourist attractions in Europe.

As the name suggests it a beautiful, calm and quite costal line situated below the mountain and Nature Park Učka, Opatija is a great choice for a vacation in summer and winter season.

I stayed at Hotel Opatija whichh is one of the oldest and luxurious hotels in Opatija and is situated in the center of Opatija facing the sea.

The road from the nearest town of Rijeka is a port area when we can find ferry and cruise which take you to nearby islands on week ends and return my early Monday morning.

As said Opatija is a coastal area with beautiful beaches and plenty of entertainment. The journey from Rijeka to Opatija is a beautiful experience as the road runs parallel to costal line and the hill on the other side.

Croatia’s nature beauty, climate, parks, hotels & old Austrian villas, seaside promenade and beaches attract tourists not only attracts Europeans but also tourists from all over the world.

Opatija is the leading tourist destination in the Republic of Croatia. The beauty of this place forced me to stay more that the actual days I had planned to spend in Opatija.

Anybody traveling to this part of the world is definite to fall in love with this place. Now I am planning to revisit this place again after few years.
