Thailand Vacations Idea #1:
If you enjoy cooking, how about a Thai Cooking School Vacation. Learn how to prepare, store and use Thai ingredients. Make your own curry pastes using a pestle and mortar. Learn the different Thai vegetables, herbs, roots and spices at the local market. A Thailand vacation with Passion Asia provides these tasty experiences in Nonthaburi and also in Chiang Mai, combined with a half day city and temple tour.

Thailand Beach Vacation Idea #2:
Phuket Island was relatively unknown until recently and is now referred to as "Pearl of the Andaman Sea" for it's pristine white sand beaches and warm blue sea water which is perfect for snorkeling and diving. Located on the west coast of southern Thailand, Phuket Island is about the size of Singapore and is famous for the true natural beauty of its tropical jungle, coconut and rubber plantations and quiet little villages.

Thailand Vacations Idea #3:
Although it is usually a little crowded with tourists, Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha is one of the greatest spectacles that Bangkok has to offer. Thailand's most sacred temple, with its golden spires and glittering mosaics, is the home of the tiny Emerald Buddha. It is made up of some 100 brightly colored buildings including the beautiful Golden Palace.

Thailand Vacations Idea #4:
See some of the world's finest Muay Thai fighters at the Lumpini Stadium in Bangkok. The Lumpini Cahmpionship belt is the highest prize for the Muay Thai fighters. Muay Thai is similar to kickboxing but makes more effective use of knees and elbows. Top boxing fights are on held on Friday and Saturday nights.

Thailand Vacations Idea #5:
A fun vacation in Thailand that is off the beaten path is Ko Mook Island in southern Thailand. There is a wonderful beach, Hat Farang, with excellent swimming, snorkeling, and sunset gazing. A favorite Thailand vacation spot is Emerald Cave. Entering requires visitors to actually swim about 150 feet through a darkened tunnel to get to the emerald-colored water of the lagoon inside the cave.

Vacation Idea in Thailand #6:
Pattaya Kart Speedway has a karting adventure for you. It's the biggest karting operation in Thailand with a 1500 foot long asphalt track and off-road tracks for beginners and experienced drivers. These small, powerful 4 wheel go-carts are popular with locals and tourists alike. They also offer bungee jumping, paintball, and scuba diving.

Thailand Scuba Dive Vacation Idea #7:
Discover Scuba Diving in Pattaya. No matter what your diving experience (or lack of it), you can experience the beautiful underwater world of corals, fish and the islands. Explore WWII shipwrecks. Take underwater photos of the incredible fish and coral reef formations. No Phone, No Mail, No Beeper...It's a different kind of pressure at 130 feet..!

Thailand Vacations Idea #8:
An interesting spot to visit is the Mae Rim Buffalo Training Camp near Chiang Mai city in northern Thailand. The buffalo has been used for centuries to perform needed work on the farms but is rapidly being replaced by modern machinery.

The camp is dedicated to preserving the traditional way of life of the Thai farmer and the buffalo. You can watch as the buffalos are trained to receive commands. See demonstrations of skill and dexterity as handlers mount and dismount the animals. Visit a traditional Thai farmhouse and take a ride on a buffalo. This is a great way to experience traditional Thai culture up close.

Adventure vacation in Thailand Idea #9:
In Chiang Mai you can find a guide that will take you Hill Tribe Trekking in the mountains of northern Thailand. This is an adventure that takes you along jungle trails, across streams and down rivers. You spend the nights at local hill tribe villages where you will eat the local foods and experience native culture in a way that few tourists ever get to.

Thailand Beach Vacation Idea #10:
Angthong National Marine Park is an excellent place to see the raw natural beauty of Thailand. This protected preserve is a collection of 42 small islands with virgin tropical rain forests, white sand beaches and coral reefs. The best way to see it is to take a tour based out of Samui. A popular stop is Koh Wua Talab Island where you can climb the 300 feet to the top of the central peak. It's an arduous climb but the incredible panoramic view is worth it.

Thailand Vacations Idea #11:
Koh Samui is the third largest island in Thailand and is a great exotic getaway vacation idea. Coconut trees and beautiful beaches await you in this tropical paradise. There are a couple of nice waterfalls, Na Muang waterfall and Hin Lad waterfall. You can visit the 12 meter tall Buddha statue, Wat Phra Yai also known as Big Bhudda. There is plenty to do here such as bungee jumping at Chaweng, check out the butterflies at Butterfly Garden, watch Thaiboxing at The Lamai Stadium.

Thailand Vacations Idea #12:
The Imperial Boat House, in Ko Samui, Thailand is a truly unique hotel. What sets the Imperial Boat House apart from the standard hotel is that the accommodations are teakwood rice barges that have been renovated into luxury suites. The barge/suites are sitting on the sand of Choeng Mon Beach which is an incredibly beautiful and unspoiled beach. This all makes for a wonderful tropical beach-style paradise vacation opportunity and it’s only a few miles from the airport. While staying here you can enjoy snorkeling, diving, swimming, windsurfing and canoeing.
