Here are some St Martin clothing optional vacation ideas. St. Martin is the best kept secret in the Caribbean.

It offers everything from beautiful beaches and tranquil resorts to casinos and nightclubs. The island is split into two parts - a French side and a Dutch side. The French side, or northern part of the island, is known for its nude beaches more than anything else.

The Dutch side, or southern side, is known for its high energy and nightlife. We will focus solely on the French side. Below, the best clothing optional resorts and beaches in St. Martin are covered.

St Martin Clothing Optional Vacation Ideas #1:
Club Orient: This 12-acre resort is tucked away on Orient Beach. It offers a lot in the way of amenities; however, it’s the stellar staff that keeps guests smiling throughout their entire stay.

When you stay at Club Orient, no matter where you turn or what you’re doing, someone will be there to assist you. If you tell a staff member that you’d prefer to be left alone, they will honor that request without animosity.

Popular amenities here include a beach bar, water sports, two tennis courts, a spa, a great restaurant, a gift shop, and evening entertainment. The beach bar is a popular spot, but it closes at 10 p.m., which is an obvious negative for some.

Water sports include kayaking and snorkeling. And a good tip for the restaurant is to order the lobster and/or mussels. The Club Orient is by far the most popular nudist resort in St. Martin. It has 135 rooms and 1 villa.

Other than the early closing of the beach bar, the only negative is the absence of a pool. That said, sitting in a lounge chair on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world beats hanging out at any pool.

St Martin Clothing Optional Vacation Ideas #2:
Club Fantastico is much different than Club Orient. This is a quieter resort set in a much more tranquil environment. For instance, there are only 6 villas. This might mean fewer amenities, but it also means more personalized service.

Club Fantastico has recently gone under new management. The new host goes by the name of Brian Richards. Almost every guest that has stayed at Club Fantastico has raved about Brian in every possible way, from his friendly nature to his fabulous cooking.

While Brian helps make the trip a success, he’s not the primary reason people travel to Club Fantastico. Most people visit this resort for its laid back atmosphere, its outdoor showers that overlook Orient Bay (every villa also has an indoor shower), the freedom to roam nude, and its overall beauty. Amenities include a large pool with a volleyball net, a hot tub, daily maid service, and free wine and cheese on Thursday nights. Every villa has a king-size bed and a large bathroom.

St Martin Clothing Optional Vacation Ideas #3:
Orient Beach is located on the east side of St. Martin. It’s important to understand the politics of Orient Beach prior to visiting. Many of the locals don’t appreciate full nudity. If you go topless, they’re not going to mind.

If you go fully nude, you might get a few glares and possibly even a rude comment or two. This is all despite there being a large rock that separates the ‘nude’ side of the beach from the ‘prude’ side of the beach.

The good news is that even if you choose to go fully naked on the ‘nude’ side of the beach, you will have more allies than whoever is complaining.

The amenities at this popular clothing optional beach are numerous. They include parasailing, beach music, the sale of alcoholic beverages (and non-alcoholic beverages), umbrella and chair rentals, and free parking. Add white sand, a consistent gentle breeze, and warm water, and you have found paradise on earth.

St Martin Clothing Optional Vacation Ideas #4:
Not many people are aware of Happy Bay’s existence. That’s what makes it so special. It’s a bit of an adventure to get there, but that’s what keeps it secluded. In order to get to Happy Bay, you have to hike through moderate to heavy brush for at least 15 minutes.

This might sound like a nuisance, but once you arrive, you will understand why it’s more than worth the effort. This beach is extremely secluded, which makes it the perfect setting for romance. It’s also the best snorkeling spot in St. Martin. Happy Bay is located on the northwestern side of St. Martin. To get there, begin at Friar’s Bay Beach.

The clothing optional resorts and beaches listed above are so tranquil and picturesque that they seem more dreamlike than real when you are there. It’s one of the few surreal experiences in life that you wish will never end. And once it does end, you can’t wait to return.
