Sand Harbor Beach Lake Tahoe

Recently we went to Lake Tahoe found an unexpectedly gorgeous beach - Sand Harbor Beach. I had to keep reminding myself that the tide would not be coming in and we were not really in the ocean. The ultimate destination, however, is anywhere in the South Pacific where the water is amazing, the geography is mountainous and there is lots of sea life to entertain.

Our favorite family vacation is the beach. Any beach will do, but one where the swimming is good is best. We live in California where we have beautiful beaches and when we are looking for a close-to-home get away Monterey, Capitola, Santa Cruz and Inverness offer the right environment to relax and enjoy nature.
