Random Stop to a Rinky-Dink Restaurant

A lot of times, driving trips are spoiled by the fact that we're often required to sit still in a car for incredibly long periods of time with not much movement or entertainment.

Because of this, I've discovered that a random stop to a rinky-dink restaurant is always incredibly fun. I can't even count the number of times I've been able to find some amazing restaurants or shops because we decided to stop in a small town to get food that wasn't a McDonalds or a fast-food chain restaurant.

There's really quite a few gems out there, so don't be afraid to stop by a place that's less fancy, you'll find some fantastic. It'll give you a good reason to stop and stretch your legs and make the long drive to your destination much more bearable.
