A great spot for a vacation that’s a little out of the norm and out of the path of most folks is the Arts in the park festival in Butte, Montana. There are vendors from all over the United States and Canada who for three days show their stuff. It’s held in a beautiful park with a quiet creek running through it.

There’s no better place to relax and enjoy peace and quiet while enjoying other people there to do the same thing you are. There are some wonderful vendors that make furniture, sculptures, oil paintings and food. While in Butte, Montana you can also see the National Folk Festival at the same time. You would think that this may be a hassle to enjoy with the word "festival" but there really are no crowds to deal with and you can sit in the grass and enjoy music from all over the USA.
