Olde Town Fredericksburg Virginia Vacation Idea

by Lauren
(Virginia)

Come on down to Olde Town Fredericksburg! Fredericksburg, Virginia is rich in history and excitement.

Olde Town has seen bloody battles of the Revolutionary and Civil wars (where the Angel of Marye Heights was made famous!), been the backdrop of a popular movie, and become a hidden culinary hot spot.

The small, mom-and-pop style shops that line the streets create a cozy feel. But there's always something going on in Olde Town! First Fridays feature local bands, as does Music on the Steps.

The parks, located right on the Rappahannock River, offer great spots for kids to freeplay. And all of the battlefields (and small museums with information pertaining to) are amazingly preserved for your historical enjoyment!

In Olde Town, it's easy to find Virginia ham and peanuts, great entertainment, and easygoing residents. Enjoy this cool vacation idea!
