The Flume Gorge and Visitor Center at Franconia Notch State Park is a narrow riverbed gorge and waterfall. You enter through the Visitor Center and descend a wooden staircase down into the 800 foot deep, granite crevice right along side the rushing water. Every half hour at the information center you can see a 15 minute movie introducing park. Afterwards you can enjoy a liesurely walk or other activities in the park.
