Mini vacation ideas #7: San Diego - My last vacation was my by far my favorite. It was a short, unplanned and completely last minute getaway.
We did not even take the time to pack anything. We hopped in the car when he got off of work on Thursday and pulled up directions on our navigation system. After arriving, we rode around the city looking for a hotel room. We found a chain hotel and was able to get a room. We were right on Sunset Boulevard, near all of the attractions, and paid a reasonable rate for the weekend.
The hotel room was small, but clean and relatively safe for the area. We went shopping for clothes and necessities for the weekend at some local, reasonably priced stores. We had the opportunity to spend a lot of quality time together exploring the city of Los Angeles. The restaurants were excellent, beaches were beautiful, and the nightlife was exciting. I would love to go back someday. - Jane from CA->
