Las Vegas Weekend Getaways #1:
By Jon from California - I remember the first time I went to Las Vegas. As I drove into the city seeing the most amazing hotels and environment I have ever seen. Everywhere I looked, I saw billion dollar hotels that looked so expensive and amazing. The bright lights coming from every direction, the exotic cars on the road, immediately I knew this was the place for me.

Although every hotel was so amazing, I stayed at the Mandalay Bay, which is a type of beach resort. I was in Las Vegas to enjoy a boxing fight. I ended up getting a incredible room with a breath taking view of the strip. As I unpacked my bags after checking into the hotel, I was so impressed with the huge variety of places to eat.

Every kind of food was there, from sushi to steaks to pasta and buffets, they had it all. I was so happy there. I was also so excited that I got to see a Mike Tyson fight, at the time I went he was still fighting.

There were celebrities everywhere. I took my camera and was able to get pictures of some great actors and sports greats. The nightlife was also so amazing: The best clubs in the world with the best drinks. Perfect for Las Vegas weekend getaways. eautiful girls everywhere and the weather was really nice as a lot of Vegas is walking around, so I was very comfortable. The pools and spas were so relaxing. I will for sure go back.

Las Vegas Weekend Getaways #2:
By Brian from Prescott, AZ - My favorite vacation took place in Las Vegas. I was blessed to receive some unexpected money and thought it was only right to spend it on something I had always dreamed about, a wonderful trip to Las Vegas and to stay at Wynn Las Vegas.

A private limousine ride from the airport took us to the entrance reserved for the special Tower Suites. Every door from the car until the check-in desk is opened by a smiling person, greeting you and welcoming you to the hotel. After checking in a very short walk to a bank of private elevators silently whisks you to your floor and into your own oasis. Our suite had a beautiful living room with wet bar, and large, flat screen television. There was a sofa and a couple chairs and a desk with multiline phone.

A nice touch is your name on the phone's digital screen and every time you call anywhere in the hotel you are greeted by name. There is also a small powder room for visitors to use. The large bedroom has plenty of storage and closet space for clothes and storing suitcases. The king bed is made with very soft, luxurious sheets and a wonderful, thick coverlet. The beds are amazingly comfortable.

They are so popular they sell them, along with the bedding. A doorway leads to the master bath. Huge is the only word for the bathroom. Separate tub and shower, double sinks and vanities, and a toilet closeted off in its own room make for a heavenly experience. The tub is very deep and the toiletries provided let you take an amazing soak.

There are a lot of amazing places to eat at Wynn. We tried the buffet, the cafe, Red 8, which offers different types of Asian food, and the Steakhouse. The steakhouse is an experience. To get there you take a curving escalator down to a large open area with a bar and outside seating that overlooks a small lake. Inside the steakhouse there is a wonderful bar area.

There are several couches around the room that surround coffee tables. A pomegranate martini was too tempting not to try. The restaurant is visually stunning with brick and polished wood walls. There are tables and banquets with lit with large light fixtures covered with oversize lamp shades.

The menu is typical steakhouse but with special twists in presentation. The steaks are served with three different sauces, a classic béarnaise, a fruity-spicy sauce, and their house steak sauce. Sides are served individually and were great, especially the creamed spinach and the corn. The only negative would be the french fries. They just couldn't seem to get them crisp. They had amazing flavor just not as crispy as I would like.

That didn't stop me from eating all of them, though. Save room for dessert. Chocolate souffle! We tried to do this as if it would be our only chance and we have amazing memories of everything we saw, did, and ate. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Wynn for a Las Vegas weekend getaways, grab it with both hands.

Las Vegas Weekend Getaways #3:
By Richard from Richmond VA - My fiance and I decided to take a vacation to good old Las Vegas for her 21st birthday and we had the time of our lives.

We made reservations at the Wynn hotel which was amazing and made us feel as if we were millionaires, with all the comps and amenities which came with our stay. The gambling was so much fun, even though we lost some it was worth the experience.

The food was amazing especially the buffets, and all over the strip there were endless attractions from the water shows at the Bellagio, to the street entertainers, there was always something to do.

If you go for Las Vegas weekend getaways, make sure you attend one of the Cirques De Soleil shows. There are many different ones to choose from and are full of acrobatic action and beautiful visuals.

We dedicated one full day to go to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. This was the highlight of our trip.

We took a bus ride to the Grand Canyon where we then took a helicopter tour to the bottom of the canyon. We then hiked a little ways to a boat tour which was so much fun. We took some many priceless pictures that day that we will cherish forever.

When we returned back to the bus we traveled further up the canyon to a buffet lunch at one of the most beautiful scenic spots on the canyon, it was breathtaking. This vacation was my best one yet and I have already made another plan to go back next year.

Las Vegas Weekend Getaways #4:
By Kathy from Chicago, Il - I absolutely love to ATV! There is just something so thrilling and yet so calming when I am riding on an ATV in the middle of the desert. The first time I ever rode an ATV, was in Nevada.

My family and I went to Vegas, but at the time I was under 21 so there wasn’t a whole lot I could do so I decided to indulge in some of the tours. A Motor Coach picked me up at my hotel and drove me to Primm Nevada where my adventure began. It was a 2 hour ride from Primm to just over the California Border.

While on the tour I was guided by an ATV expert who took us through the desert, up hills and even over some bumpy terrain (very fun on an ATV) I was able to stop and take pictures on the hills and near the rocks and I even got to hold a wild (but not poisonous) snake. Over all the trip lasted about 5 hours including the drive to and from the hotel.

I love ATV-ing because I am a natural born adventurer. You never know what you might encounter on an ATV tour. It's relaxing and I like the feel of the wind as it is hitting my face and as I am flying on that powerful little motor bike. Every one of my Las Vegas weekend getaways, I do an ATV tour of some kind. It’s my favorite thing to do on vacation.
