Here you can ride or even drive a NASCAR-style race car. There are different experiences tailored to what you want. If you just want to ride then hop in the shotgun seat with of a 2-seat stock car as the professional driver screams around the track for a 3 lap qualifying run.

For the more adventurous, you can get behind the wheel and experience the full feel of the 600 hp racing machine. With the Rookie Experience you get to drive for 8 laps of the track.

Need more? Go for the King’s Experience where you get 18 laps of racing thrills. Then there’s the ultimate Experience of a Lifetime where you get 3 sessions and get to white-knuckle your way around the track for 30 laps. The Richard Petty Driving Experience is near the Magic Kingdom inside Walt Disney World.  

#4: Shopping is always a popular vacation activity and Kissimmee, Florida has plenty of great shopping for you. Historic downtown Kissimmee offers a captivating mix of family-owned businesses that cater to a variety of tastes. The Maingate Flea Market, in Kissimmee, is a huge fully air-conditioned flea market with great bargains. Another flea market in Kissimmee is the Osceola Flea & Farmers Market with 900 specialty booths with antiques, collectibles, Florida souvenirs and fresh produce.

A huge array of outlet shopping is just minutes away in Orlando. Only a mile from Disney you can shop and save at over 150 stores at Orlando Premium Outlets. Or head to the Prime Outlets International Orlando, on International Drive, and save big-time on over 175 of your favorite brands all under one roof. The Mall at Millenia is a world-class shopping destination offering a dazzling selection of international stores.

Kissimmee Tourism Vacation Ideas #5: Kid Fun - There are loads of vacation things to do in Kissimmee for the kids. There’s the Happy Days Family Fun Center at Old Town where everyone can have fun racing around twists and turns on this fun-filled go-kart track, bumper cars and lazer tag. The Haunted Grimm House of Old Town is four thousand square feet of scary fun where the dead rise to life. Medieval Life is the only permanent medieval village in the United States with arts, crafts, and daily traditions of the medieval period.

Wonder Works, on International Drive, is an interactive attraction with over 100 exhibits. You can land a space craft, fly a fighter jet or design your own roller coaster. This is fun for the whole family. At Fun Spot USA you can ride the Sky Coaster, the tallest in the world; race NASCAR cars on the electronic racing simulators or play black light mini-golf.
