This wonderful Illinois vacation spot is nestled in the heart of Amish country .... the little town of Arcola. Here you can visit the Amish Interpretive Center where you will be able to see quilts, antiques, and Amish furniture. You can take a guided tour of the Amish community .... even enjoying a meal in an Amish home on Friday and Saturday evenings. Arcola is the host of an annual Raggedy Ann Festival celebrating the much loved doll and it's Arcola-born creator, Johnny Gruelle.
