A Festival Vacation can be great vacation idea if you like a party atmosphere with lots of people and a variety of food and entertainment. There are lots of festivals around the world with different themes. With a little searching you should be able to find some that have a theme to your liking. I have a few here to get you started thinking.
Festival Vacation Idea#1:
The National Storytelling Festival is held every October in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Large circus-type tents are set up downtown where everyone gathers to enjoy the talents of gifted storytellers from around the world. Just one example out of many is Bill Lepp. He is the winner of five "Biggest Liar" titles telling original, Appalachian tall-tales. Other storytelling festivals are the

The Brighton Festival. For three weeks in May, Brighton showcases both local and international artists. From circus, live music and comedy to live art, film, dance and pyrotechnic spectacle. The Brighton Festival is a mix of the highest quality performance and contemporary street art. Brighton Festival is great for children and families.
