One famous tourist spot in Thailand, and it’s also one of the cheapest places Thailand vacation spots is Phuket.

It is an amazing place where you can do so much ranging from water sports to cultural activities to cheap shopping to jungle safari to 4 wheeler ATVs.

There is plenty for the kids as well; like butterfly garden, aquariums, go karting, beaches etc.

Water is one of the biggest attractions.

You can all range of activities like para sailing, banana boats, jet skiing, kite surfing, snorkeling, deep sea scuba diving and sea canoeing to name a few.

On the cultural side Fantasia will definitely one of the best thing you will ever experience. Phuket now has cheap seaplanes as well.

Imagine landing at the airport and from there, go directly to your luxurious resort (which costs pennies in comparison to similar places in other parts of the world) on a seaplane.

On the way you enjoy some of the most marvelous and picturesque places on earth.

As to lodging and traveling; As I previously mentioned Phuket has some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts at insanely low prices.

My personal favorite is Banthai right at the heart of Patong Beach which is actually a four star but the service which you get at the price I would say its like staying at no cost.

The best time to visit this famous tourist spot in Thailand is April.

This is the slow tourist season so you will get cheapest deals.

Also, Apr 13 to 15th is the Songkaran Festival which is the time for Thai New Year festivities.
