Family Vacation to Leech Lake, Minnesota

The best vacation I ever took was a family vacation to Leech Lake, Minnesota. Most of my extended family was there. We all rented cabins and spent a week enjoying each others company and playing in the Lake. We had bonfires almost every night that we would sit around and talk about many different topics. We spent our days swimming in the lake, fishing, riding the pontoon one of my Uncles rented, reading, or shopping. It just depended on what you were interested in doing. We all took turns cooking wonderful food and feeding everyone else. Everyone watched the children that were with and took turns playing different games with them. It was so relaxing that it felt like that week was really a month.
