If you come in the summer months, the good weather offers all kinds of games for the kids to keep active together with bonfires and movies in the evening! During your stay you will want to explore the Cape to see its unusual grace and beauty, such as the National Sea Shore which stretches for 40 miles. There you can enjoy the bounteous sands of the beaches and lighthouses that grace the shoreline of the National Seashore. We had both seen the Falls before, but we had never gone on the Maid of the Mist boat, which was really a lot of fun. Everyone on the boat wears matching blue raincoats because of the spray, and the boat goes close to the Falls, which gives you a totally different perspective; you really get a better idea of how huge the Falls are from the boat. We also rode the incline up the hill, which has a great view of the Falls, especially at night. Walking around the town at night is fun too, because all the touristy shops and attractions stay open late. There are all kinds of shops in the town, as well as tourist attractions like wax museums and Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not. We played miniature golf at 11:30 at night, which was a hoot! I would recommend Niagara Falls for fun family vacation ideas with a wide variety of things to keep you entertained. This County boasts of over 14 guest ranches as well as bed and breakfast hideaways for families large and small. Some activities include petting corrals, rodeos, hayrides and swimming. And, some have working stock where you can watch the cowboys doing their thing. There's no end of selections when looking for a ranch which offers trail-riding for experienced riders as well as lessons for wannabees. The trails are scenic and memorable. All in all, there is something for everyone at any of the exciting events and amenities offered by the guest ranches and bed and breakfasts among the watering holes in the rolling hills and spring fed creeks that can be found in Bandera County - the place to go for dude ranch vacations in Texas. This is the perfect opportunity to give that youngster, who won't part with that ten-gallon hat, a real live adventure that he'll carry in his memory for his whole lifetime! We only made it as far as Oahu, but wow was it magical. We stayed in Waikiki at the Moana Surfrider, my favorite hotel on the island to this day. My best memories were watching the sun set under the banyan tree on the lanai. We went for hikes, went on a boat for snorkeling, and ate a lot of native food. We even crashed a pig roast in Haleiwa. I loved this trip so much that I ended up moving to Oahu and have become a scuba instructor who lives on a boat at Ko Olina. This family trip to Hawaii was the best vacation of my life. We picked Wild Adventures in the first place because a few friends of mine had already vacationed in the theme park. They enjoyed the experience greatly, so I decided to gather up my son, boyfriend, sister, and brother-in-law, and head out to Valdosta, Georgia, the first chance I got. The chance to go to Wild Adventures came in the July of 2009 when my son and I would be out of school for a few weeks. This was a great opportunity for us to spend time together with the family. My sister and I got together and discussed the details of the trip, and before I knew it, I was calling numbers in the phone book. Eventually we booked a 3-day 2-night weekend trip to Wild Adventures. We chose to stay at the Days Inn in Lake Park, Georgia, because it’s just six miles from the theme park and we wanted to have a great hotel experience. I heard that the Days Inn was a wonderful place to stay during a vacation, and from my own experience, I found this to be true. The hotels appearance was immaculate and it looked brand new although the hotel was built over twenty years ago, the staff was excellent, and the continental breakfast was great. Our first day at the theme park was long, and tiring, but fun. The first thing everyone wanted to do was ride the fantastic roller coasters and all other rides would come after. The huge variation of food was expensive but good, and the entertainment and shows were scheduled conveniently apart so that we had a chance to see every show for the rest of the weekend. I couldn’t believe I was actually having such a great time, being that this was my first real vacation. Overall, I would rate this vacation a 10/10 because it was the summer, the hotel was excellent, and the food was great. The Wild Adventures theme park was all that my friends said that it would be and more. Now that it’s July again, my family and I have already started planning our next Georgia family vacation to Wild Adventures. I am convinced that this trip will be as great as the last family summer vacations.
