Family Road Trip to St Ignac Michigan

The year I was 13, my mom and step dad decided that we were going to cheap road trip to the Michigan Upper Peninsula for a few days.

It quickly ballooned into more than just the typical family vacation, as my aunt, my cousins, and various other family members wound up on the trip, along with my parents and my brothers. We had a van, so we all just piled in and drove!

Well, once we got up north, we were stopped at a stop sign and mom was looking at a map. Next thing you know, my aunt screams because my step dad had taken his foot off the brake!!

That was just the beginning of the "everything that can go wrong will." But, we wound up staying in some small place that had individual cabins instead of a regular hotel, and it was out in the woods.

It was the quietest and quaintest little place I've ever been to and I'd love to go back, however I can't for the life of me remember where it was!
