Golf, tennis, scuba, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking or windsurfing are all at your fingertips. There are family activities such as iguana feeding, bonfires, kids movies, kite flying and bedtime stories. Take part in water/poolside entertainment such as "21", Ping Pong, V.I. Trivia, Bingo, pool volleyball and pool relays.

On the top of a nearby cliff overlooking a gorge sits Altos de Chavon, the resort’s $30 million replica of a 16th-century colonial village. With boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, Taino Indian museum, and s small stone church, this incredible attraction draws tourists from around the world.

The kid’s center is staffed by "Super Nannies" who supervise a host of children’s activities. A few are "Mousecize", swimming lessons, shell hunts, pool games, nature walks, donkey rides, glass bottom boat rides, computer play, treasure hunts, and movies.

Nearby is Dunn’s River Falls, one of Jamaica’s top attractions. With the help of a local guide you can climb the 600 foot tall falls. Also nearby is Prospect Plantation, offering tram rides past fields of bananas, pineapples, sugar cane, coffee, limes and pimento.

The ocean reefs are begging to be explored with a snorkel. Or hop on a jet ski for a ride on the waves. A scooter is a fun way to explore the island and stop for some the award-winning cuisine at one of the six great restaurants. The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course was winner of the 2002 Golf Digest, best places to play golf. The Beach Club has 6 tennis courts.
