Day Canoeing on the Delaware Water Gap

One of my all time Favorite vacation activity is Canoeing on the Delaware Water Gap. It's a day trip but believe you me after the day is over it feels like a real vacation.

You start off early and are driven upstream by a man in a van and that were you start your adventure and your with your buddy and fish and drink beer all day and go through some minor rapids and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Its a lot of fun and sometimes you will see others in canoes stuck in the rocks.The fishing usually isn't the great and the water is really swallow in some parts but the winding river has a soothing, hypnotic effect and is a very satisfying experience that lasts for days after.

I would highly recommend a day canoeing on the Delaware water gap if your in the New Jersey area.
