January through March is mating season for the humpback whale. Thousands of them come to Samana Bay so head out on a boat for some whale watching fun.
This is one of the best whale watching spots in the world. You can explore the surrounding jungle on an ATV. The coastline here at The Peninsula House is great for scuba diving, sailing and deep-sea fishing.
