All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic #1:
By Jessica from New York - I went to the Allegro Playa Dorada Resort in the Dominican Republic for a wonderful vacation. It was all inclusive and had the most beautiful scenery. The food was fantastic, especially the fresh fruit that was picked locally. Our hotel was beautiful. It had large rooms and almost every single one had a room with a view of the ocean. The hotel also had a huge walk in pool with a bar in the middle of the pool where you could order both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

The hotel offered many activities including dancing, snorkeling, wave runners and surfing. We also were able to ride horse back up and then back down a mountain. The horse was a little fast for me, but it was fun! The locals set up little booths on the beach where you can have your hair braided. The Jack Tar village was right down the street and had a great casino. I even won a few hundred dollars. I would definitely go back.

All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic #2:
By Sue from Massachusetts - I'd like to share my experience from the all-inclusive vacation my husband and I took to the Grand Oasis Punta Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic. We booked the resort online, and there were no problems, and were excited to learn more about it.

I emailed the resort asking about specific accommodations (my husband is a diabetic, and we needed to be sure there was a fridge in our suite). I got a prompt response from an agent there, which we really appreciated because in the past I have encountered non-responsive employees at resorts.

We arrived on time, and were happily greeted with champagne in the lobby, and by friendly and hospitable hosts who made us feel at home. The package included all meals, housing and basically everything we could have needed.

The rooms were spacious, clean and just beautiful. The pools were warm and clean, and the atmosphere was just intoxicating and tropical, as we had hoped. The beach is luckily nearby and we made many trips there, as the concierge was very helpful and accommodating.

The food at the resort was top class, and we didn't really feel the need to go outside, although we did anyway just to experience some of the local flavors, which were delicious. All in all, we would highly recommend the Grand Oasis for your next vacation idea!

All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic #3:
By Mike from New York - We stayed at the all-inclusive Grand Palladium resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Located on Bavaro Beach, this resort featured a buffet and three specialty dining rooms, nightly entertainment, a casino, and of course, unlimited drinks.

The resort is located on a stretch of the beach that is adjacent to a number of other similar resorts. The bracelets issued to guests of one resort are cross-honored at all of the other resorts along that stretch. At the end of the beach, there is security stationed 24 hours a day preventing locals from accessing the resort beaches. Past this area, guests can eat at local establishments, have their hair braided, and purchase souvenirs.

The beach itself was beautiful and sunny. The food was of moderate quality, not the greatest that we've eaten on vacation and fairly greasy, but with several different dining options, it was always possible to find something that suited your personal tastes. The entertainment, while performed in Spanish, was easy to follow and very enjoyable. The small casino had basic table games and a few slot machines, but was never crowded. All in all, it was a great vacation idea that we highly recommend.

All Inclusive Resorts Dominican Republic #4:
By Ted from New Jersey - To celebrate my first spring break back in school, my wife and I decided to take a week’s vacation together. We did not have a specific destination in mind but we did have a few requirements that we wanted met.

We knew that we wanted to go to an adults only all-inclusive resort, and we wanted to go to a tropical destination, but it would have to be a direct flight from Newark, NJ. After a few hours of research we decided that the best destination for us would be the Excellence resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Everything about our experience at Excellence exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food far exceeded our hopes and the service was amazing, from check-in to check-out. There was plenty to do on the days that we were restless, and plenty of luxury on the days that we didn’t want to move.
