Personally, my favorite time of year for this vacation idea is in the winter months, because during the summer it can be very humid and hot. All the rooms have air conditioning, and many are suites. Children are NOT allowed. The limit is any person under 16 is considered a child.

The food and beverages were all inclusive so there was no need to bring any extra cash on hand. They had cuisines from all over the world and not one restaurant we tried disappointed!

Also, having an adults only resort for our honeymoon was very nice as there were no screaming children running around the resort.

Just a bunch of people having a really great time and enjoying the spectacular ocean views and scenery. I highly recommend the butler service if you can afford it. I have never been more pampered in my life and it was fun to have a butler for a week. The resort is new and very modern with a tropical twist. With nine bars, nine different resort restaurants, and an all you can eat buffet any picky eater will be delighted. At many resorts you must make reservations at resort restaurants early in the morning to ensure your spot.

At Wild Orchid, you can enjoy your day and not worry about the hassle of waking up early to ensure you can reserve a spot at the restaurant for dinner. The resort offers many day time activities so you can interact with others if you wish and even win prizes. I have been on countless vacations to all inclusive resorts and this by far exceeded my expectations.

For vacationers not wanting to spend extra money on excursions but still have a good time, the resort offers water sports, a gaming lounge, nightly entertainment, fitness center, and spa.

The service is exceptional, the staff is always easy to find and will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. The beach is absolutely gorgeous...and private! Being newlyweds we wanted our vacation to be as romantic as possible so after a bit of research we decided that we wanted to go to an adults-only all-inclusive resort. We decided on the Excellence Resort. We chose this resort because of the excellent reviews that the resort received, as well as the convenient flight options from the Newark Airport.

From the time we arrived until the time we left were constantly impressed with the exceptional service that we received from the courteous and well trained staff. Expecting to be disappointed with the "all inclusive" nature of the resort we were pleasantly surprised to find that the food and drink were top shelf all the way around. Only the selection of beer was limited.

Having never been to a resort like this before, we weren't quite sure what to expect or even if we'd made the right decision. Upon arrival, it didn't take us long to realize that we had indeed chosen wisely.

The resort was decorated superbly, the guests and staff were so friendly, and there were plenty of options to choose from depending on our mood. Part of me had been worrying that we had booked at a sleazy spot but that was not the case at all. The staff was great in encouraging the mood as well as keeping things appropriate.

They had plenty of activities to choose from like fun and exciting group games or quiet spots to talk if you just wanted to be alone with your partner. I was quite surprised by the food and bars that they had; such a wide selection to fit every taste. Needless to say, my husband and I really enjoyed our little get away and found it to be exactly what we needed to bring our focus back on each other.

We will definitely visit this adult only all inclusive vacation resort again soon. We thoroughly recommend this vacation idea to other couples like us who've gotten stuck in a rut and just want to relax have a good time.
